In Spain: The inflation rate in the eurozone continued to decline in February to 2.6%

In February, inflation in the eurozone slightly accelerated its downward trend of the last few months, reaching 2.6% year-on-year compared to January’s 2.8%, according to the preliminary estimates from the European statistical office Eurostat released this Friday. Spain, with an inflation rate of 2.9% according to the EU agency, positioned itself in the middle range of inflation among the countries of the single currency in the recently ended month.
