Aguirre, defensora del uso de dos lenguas en Madrid, en desacuerdo con el reciente enfoque de Ayuso: “No comparto esa opinión”.

Esperanza Aguirre, who served as president of the Community of Madrid from 2003 to 2012 and was a driving force behind the bilingual education model in public schools in the region, does not agree with the decision of the Ministry of Education to stop teaching History and Geography in English starting next year. “I do not agree that the rest of the subjects are not taught in English. I implemented a different model, but oh well… Perhaps I am mistaken,” Aguirre has reacted.
